Last month, the 6th PSIONIC Project General Assembly brought together representatives from the project’s consortium at Uppsala University. The event served as a crucial platform for discussing research findings, assessing project progress, and planning the next steps in the journey towards advancing sustainable battery technology.
A key highlight of the assembly was the exploration of potential future cooperation with BATTERY 2030+, a strategic initiative aimed at driving forward Europe’s leadership in battery research and innovation. On day 2, partners were welcomed by Kristina Edström at Uppsala University where she presented BATTERY 2030+ and future collaboration on organising upcoming webinars and participation at events. We discussed and brainstormed ideas on how we can work together. This discussion underscored the importance of collaboration in pushing the boundaries of green technology and achieving breakthroughs in battery sustainability.
In addition to these productive sessions, attendees were given an exclusive tour of the state-of-the-art battery lab at Uppsala University, offering firsthand insights into cutting-edge developments in the field.
As the assembly came to a close, attendees gathered for a delicious dinner in the centre of Uppsala, which strengthened the consortium's professional relationships and promoted camaraderie.
