The PSIONIC consortium convened in Amiens, France, for the sixth General Assembly of the project in July 2025. The event, hosted by CNRS, brought together partners from across Europe to review recent research achievements, assess project progress, and define the next steps in advancing sustainable battery technologies.
Over the course of the meeting, participants engaged in productive discussions on upcoming activities and explored potential synergies with BATTERY 2030+, a key European initiative driving innovation in energy storage. Preparations were also made for PSIONIC’s forthcoming webinar series, which will provide insights into the consortium’s latest developments and collaborative research.
In addition to the formal sessions, attendees had the opportunity to tour CNRS’s battery laboratory, gaining first-hand insight into cutting-edge experimental work, and to enjoy a group dinner in the historic centre of Amiens, fostering collaboration and exchange among partners.
The PSIONIC project continues to make significant strides towards advancing green and sustainable battery technologies, contributing to Europe’s leadership in next-generation energy solutions.
